Hello Blog Land !!  feels like its been forever!  No worries.. FALL is here and this by far is one of my favorite crafting seasons.  How about you?     Its a Happy SOUS Friday Challenge and I sure hope you participate in this one.  Do not forget to link up on the official SOUS Blog.    Can you guess what this challenge was about?   If you said Halloween... wrong!   Our queen crafty witch or is that goddess... Nanne' challenges us to come up with a project with the theme " Hocus Pocus "   so anything to do with magic!   I could have come up with something Disney, or some sort of magical moment with my family.  Instead I took a queue from my most amazing talent.. or lack there of.  " Spelling " !!!  LOL   I'm a scrapbooker you see, and my most favorite subject, a straight A his whole life now Sophomore in college studying to enter the medical field with a minor in foreign language.   So I hope I have painted the picture for you.  For you see, I'm the creative one, not the brains in the family... and he does not hesitate to point out my every misspelled word with in his albums.  So nothing could be more appropriate than this to adorn the door of my crafty space.   I think its important to take special note in the ' spelling ' portion of this sign.... for you see, I could not resist the opportunity to add this cute cuttlebug frog adorned with my Sizzix witches die hat to which his little rabbit ears poke through.   LOL !! thus emphasizing the 'magic' part of this theme and my inability to cast appropriate 'spells'. I also used my Cricut cartridge Happy Hauntings for the witch and frame.   Sizzix font strip for the message.   I just love how this turned out and hope you are inspired to run to your crafty caves and create create create !

BEWARE - of my HALLOWEENIES !!

Today is SOUS Die Cut Team reveal and oh what fun it is.  Well its always fun isn't it ?  For this challenge we were asked to create with a theme of Furry Friends in mind.   Having little dachshund dogs I cold not resist ! I know we are not in October as of yet but hey.. never to early to prepare right?    I created this little sign using Cricut Cartridge Four Legged Friends and Happy Hauntings. 
So much fun I think.  The little pups look a little nervous them self. LOL.  
I had in my every growing stash of paper some old Basic Grey with all those little bones on it that I used for the back ground.  I know this will be on display in my home for many Halloweens to come.

Im the Good Witch

Hello blog land,  been busy here and almost let Halloween go by with out posting these things created for a special event.   Some of my online papercrafting buddies met up in Woodstock Ga for a wonderful weekend. The hostess planned a halloween theme event and I created these name tags for each of the ladies to wear.  The witch head and hair was cut from Princess cart and the Hat from Oct. 31st.  I had a blast and was lucky enough to help decorate the evening before so I also made up a few signs to hang around the room for 'inspiration'.  lol.   hope you like and it inspires you to host a crop with a theme.  :)   I am already looking forward to the next one!

The Mojo Potion cup, menu's and the witchie poo shoe filled with embellishments were all made by our Hosts. They were soooo creative and even created wands for us to use ensuring we would never hit a brain freeze.   love these girls  :)

most cuts for the signs came from Oct. 31st, and Happy Hauntings.  The scissors from Sentimentals and the trick or treating witch from A childs year.
